Temporary Switchboards

Durable, safe, and compliant temporary boards for site power distribution

Overview

Chadwick’s Temporary Range is built specifically for short-term and mobile applications, such as construction sites, outdoor events, and site upgrades. These switchboards ensure safe power distribution with all the reliability and compliance of permanent solutions.

Each board is designed to be easily transportable, quick to install, and weather-resistant. From builders’ power to temporary generator connections, our temporary boards help keep your site running without delays.

Whether you need a few boards for a small development or a larger-scale power solution for major infrastructure projects, our temporary switchboards are built tough, tested, and ready to perform.

FAQs

How long does it take to manufacture a switchboard?

Lead times vary depending on the complexity of your board and current production capacity. Standard boards can be completed in 2–4 weeks, while fully custom solutions may take 6–8 weeks. For urgent requirements, speak with our team — we’ll do our best to accommodate your timeline.

Do you offer site inspections or on-site switchboard modifications?

Yes. Our technicians regularly attend shutdowns and site visits for maintenance, upgrades, or compliance modifications. We also offer thermal imaging and grading studies as part of our service options.

Can Chadwick supply switchboards for projects outside NSW?

Absolutely. We supply to VIC, QLD, ACT, and other regions nationally. Freight, crating, and delivery options can be discussed during quoting to ensure safe and timely arrival.

Are your switchboards built to Australian standards?

Yes — our boards are engineered in alignment with AS/NZS 61439 standards and built in accordance with NESMA best practices. If you require project-specific compliance documentation, we’re happy to provide it.

Do you offer spare parts or support for non-Chadwick boards?

We do. Our team can help source or recommend compatible components and provide alternatives if your original parts are obsolete or discontinued.

Can I send through drawings or specs for a custom quote?

Yes — we encourage it. You can upload drawings directly through our quote request form or email them to [email protected]. Our estimators will get back to you promptly.
